Sorry for my long absence on the blog. I'm in a period of heavy multitasking. We are renovating the old porch on the back of the house, same time as we renovating a big room on the other side of the house, same time as we trying to bring some order in the chaos. In the evenings my poor body is so tired of all hard work. But I am on a long, long vacation this summer so I am full of hope to sort out several things here at home and also have time for some more relaxing activities.. I'll show you some pictures when the porch and the new room is in a more ready state.

Några bilder hann vi med under påskledigheten. Min kära blomma hinner som vanligt aldrig se de bilder jag tar men hon har givit mig fria händer att publicera de bilder jag vill.

A few photos we managed to shoot over the Easter leave. My dear flower, as usual, never have time to see the pictures I take, but she has given me full permission to publish the pictures I want.
Hope you like them love, and thanks for being my model so I get the chance to practise. I certainly need it. Showing more pictures another day.

I am in the process of learning and exploring different lighting techniques (photography and post-process) and there are so many tests that I would like to run and compare. But as my favourite muse is preoccupied by her new life as university student and as the boys in the family hardly have any time to spend in front of my camera, it seems that I need to put some things on hold for a while. These pictures are from our latest photo shoot in January, it is a tentative approach in my little lighting test project.

Några bilder vi tog tidigare i höstas då vår lillblomma fortfarande var hemma i sverige
Det här med skärpa är överskattat, hahaha, nej men ibland funkar inte alla parametrar *läs Katarina*och jag är inte så petig med det tekniska. Inte om jag ändå för övrigt gillar det visuella. När jag fotar blir jag ofta så ivrig och glömmer lätt en del av de fotografiska regler jag en gång fått lära mig men jag bekymrar mig inte så mycket över det. Det viktiga är att vi har roligt tillsammans när vi fotar och det har vi verkligen. Vi skrattar mycket och hinner avhandla än det ena och än det andra. Under den här sessionen hann vi tex diskutera den sympatiske franske matematikern Cédric Villani. Den killen har inte bara stenkoll på Boltzmanns ekvation, han vet också hur man ska klä sig. Han har lixom utvecklat en helt egen stil. Vi gillar.

Sharp pictures is overrated, hahaha , no but sometimes all the parameters are not working (read Katarina) but I am not too picky with the technical stuff, not if I still like the visual. When I am shooting pictures I often get so excited so I tend to forget some of the photographic rules that I once have learnt. But I don't worry too much about it. The main importance is that we have fun, and we always have good fun during our photo shootings. We got the chance to discuss a lot. During this shooting for instance we discussed the very sympathetic French mathematics professor Cedric Villani. He is not only a mathematical genius he also sure knows how to dress.

I morse vaknade vi upp till en vacker vit värld, den första snön har fallit.
P.S. Har fotat mycketd den senaste tiden, många bilder är på gång. Hejvild blandning av människor och inredning blir det.
This morning we woke up to a beautiful white world, the first snow has fallen.
P.S I have been shooting quite a bit lately, a mixture of portraits and interior are on the way.
